Meeting summary:

The intial Agilopolis Community Day took place Thursday, 16th in Silver Formum in Wroclaw. It gathered group of people who finds themselves interested in learning and sharing the best practice of Agile.

How "hot" topic is Agile proved already the first presentation, done by Marcin Koltonowski. This presentation "CaseStudy: Presentation of Agile implementation in NSN" actually become background for vivid discussion, sharing and analysing several of the Agile areas, like:

• Agile financials - is that really efficient. Open point that is going to be discuss further
• Changing role at different stages of Agile maturity. How Product owner evaluates from the process holder to facilitator of the group.
• Blockers for agile - mid level management
• Project Manager - what is his role in the process, is Product Owner the targe role for him.
• Impelemtation of the Agile - how to start it.

Tens of questions resulted in the fact that presentation actually took more than double of time that was planned.

This caused that presentation of www.agilopolis.com and other plans was naturally shorter. Howevr intital feedback for it very positive (however logo was requested to be more agile ;o) )

Finally the group agreed to do next session in 4 weeks on 14.05.2004

Proposals:
For the next meeting short presentation of agile tools is planned by Marek Majchrzak and the preparation for next seminar organise as open session.

Next meeting and future-seminar ideas:

• every 4 weeks
• creation of ACD forum
• Q&A for Agile - short session for 5-10 minutes presentation instead of long sessions
• Adding moderated discussion panel
